Search that scales beyond the database.
FlexSearch gives every environment its own Solr core, provisioned and connected for you. No hostnames to paste, no credentials to manage, no separate bill.

Managed search, wired end to end
FlexSite provisions the backend, secures it and connects your CMS to it, so you can spend your time on indexes and relevance instead of infrastructure.
A Solr core per environment
Every environment gets its own core on its own pod, isolated the way your database schemas are. Experiments in development never touch the production index.
Connected automatically
The flexsite/fs_search package creates and maintains a Search API server from platform settings. You never paste a hostname or a password into the CMS.
Credits, not a new invoice
Enabling FlexSearch holds credits from your plan while it is active, exactly like environments and resource tiers. Disable it and those credits come straight back.
Resize as you grow
Move between capacity tiers whenever you need to. Only the difference in credits moves, and your index stays exactly where it is.
Locked down by default
Each core sits behind its own generated credentials and is reachable only from inside your environment's network. Nothing is exposed to the internet.
Your index survives restarts
Search data lives on a persistent volume, so deployments, restarts and scale-ups never cost you a full reindex.
How to enable it
Open an environment and choose Search in the sidebar.
Pick Solr and the capacity you need, then confirm the credit allocation.
Wait for the status to turn Active — provisioning and CMS wiring run on their own.
Build your indexes in Drupal exactly as you normally would.
Resize or disable it whenever you like; the credits follow along.
OpenSearch and Elastic
Solr covers Drupal Search API today. An OpenSearch engine for Elastic-oriented stacks and WordPress is on the way, and it will appear in the dashboard as soon as it is ready.
Give your site real search
Enable FlexSearch on any Codeless or FlexLab environment straight from the dashboard, and turn it off just as easily.
